''Liked: Everything about this place is wonderful. My son and I had a fantastic time, we can't fault anything. Fabulous people, facilities and scenery. And brilliant fishing which was made even better by catching a fish and being able to cook it on the bbq by a campfire. Well done to Richard and Chrissie on such a wonderful establishment and also to Joe for his non stop enthusiasm in teaching my son to fish. We will definitely be back''.

  This unique

Shropshire camp site and fishery is set in an Area of Outstanding Beauty, offering the chance to relax in beautiful surroundings whether you are pitching up  on the meadow, lakeside, or wild, woodland camping where you can relax by a camp fire. Two Shepherds huts are romantically set on the site 1 overlooking the lake which has carp of up to 20lbs,  try and catch them or watch them jump whilst enjoying a glass of wine. The other is overlooking the open field and Wenlock Edge

Shropshire, is renowned for it's Secret Hills, some of the best open, varied and unspoilt countryside, in Shropshire we are proud of our county and  all it has to offer you on your vacation, the Longmynd which is only 20 minutes away owned by the National Trust is renowned for it's views and habitat.

With the market towns of Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Church Stretton in close proximity, the magnificent Ludlow Food Centre merely a few miles away, you'll be sure to have ample opportunity to sample our local amenities and produce.  There will not be a day spent idly (unless you want to!) with local tennis, bowling and playgrounds at Church Stretton, a modern leisure centre (with spa, sauna, swimming and sports) at Ludlow and all the architectural delights of castles and National Trust buildings in the local area. Acton Scott working farm (as seen on TV) is a short distance away.

Due to the to isolated location of this Shropshire campsite, you will be away from  noise,

air pollution and light pollution, foot paths run through the site leading to some of Englands finest countryside.

Nothing is more calming than those lazy, hazey, sunny days, chilling out in the countryside  The sight and sound of the birds , the flitting colourful dragonflies hovering over the lake, (something akin to Jurassic Park), sitting by your own camp fire (logs and fire surround supplied extra), relaxing with friends or family... larger groups are more than welcome including D O E, Scouts, Guides, Forces, Cadets. We believe that camping in Shropshire is the fastest way to achieve total relaxation - don't just take our word for it, try it and you'll be back time and again!
