Stunning location in an area of natural beauty. We stayed for 2 nights in the fairly new glamping pod. The pod is way above average with a proper double bed and all linen supplied. A small gas fired bbq is supplied along with a small gas ring. It is located overlooking a trout pool and beautiful woodland views. Open fires are allowed which is a real bonus in early October. A very quiet and peaceful area with great walking and lots of nature. The owners, Richard and Christine, are very friendly and helpful (especially when it came to starting my car after I inadvertently killed the battery 😐). They are new to the camping business and obviously intent on getting it right. The site caters for all including pods, great wild camping spots in the woodland and camping fields. There are two basic but adequate shower and toilet huts. As hardened and very experienced campers we found this site far above average in every way and will definitely be returning along with friends.
Absolutely everything,we stayed in shepherds hut as my birthday treat and was so pleased with the hut, the amenities, the setting, the atmosphere and the hospitality we received from Christine and Richard.
The hut was so comfortable and warm at night with seating area on the decking that we enjoyed as it overlooked pool...We arrived later than we wanted to and had milk, eggs, bread, tea, coffee etc...waiting for us.1st night we enjoyed a bottle of wine sat overlooking the view.Bliss after a busy week of work.
The toilet and shower block ...impressive,clean and tidy and looked after everyday excellent shower for a small campsite.
The setting well awesome doesn't cover it you can sit and do nothing but read all day or wander through the woods, fishing is available.Totally beautiful place with fantastic views at every angle.
Relaxed atmosphere people of all ages so friendly but with your own space.
We had campfire on the second night pretty amazing to be able to sit out and do this and camp fire bin is provided so totally safe and an excellent time for people to get together. Also a communal BBQ to use and extra seating and tables.
Christine and Richard lovely people pleased to have met them.
Looking forward to coming again also to camp so we can bring our dog, grown up children and grandchildren.
Well worth a visit Church Stretton 10 minutes away Ludlow 25 minutes 2 nearby castles and a working farm museum just some of the other things to do nearby.
This is a new site so few teething problems, that's why we gave it 9 ,no doubt it will soon be a 10 from us,and there was nothing that bothered us it's all the joys of camping.😄
